Position Summary: The Web & Communications Assistant supports KICRS, CSOE, and the Minteer Lab by maintaining and updating website content, identifying and promoting newsworthy activities, and assisting with communications efforts. This role helps enhance the visibility and outreach of the centers and lab across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
· Update and maintain website content for KICRS, CSOE, and the Minteer Lab to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
· Identify newsworthy achievements, events, and research activities for promotion
· Write and edit articles, announcements, and feature stories for website publication
· Share and promote content across social media platforms
· Assist in developing engaging digital content aligned with university standards
· Monitor websites and social media for outdated or missing information and recommend updates
Qualifications:
· Current undergraduate or graduate student
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
· Familiarity with social media platforms and basic web editing tools
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
