Job Description
The Nuclear Engineering & Radiation Science Department is seeking a dependable student assistant to provide administrative, communication, and outreach support to ensure efficient and effective office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to department faculty and office support staff
- Maintain a professional office environment, including managing and replenishing office supplies
- Handle departmental forms and organizational matters with discretion and confidentiality
- Make copies, post flyers, and collaborate with student organizations for publications
- Organize and prepare materials for Nuclear Engineering & Radiation Science events
- Assist with social media content creation and management for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Help create and edit PowerPoint presentations and flyers
- Provide coverage or assistance when other office staff are unavailable
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and vision of the department
Minimum Qualifications
- Nuclear Engineering student preferred
- At least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
- Current student enrollment required

- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Basic proficiency in PowerPoint and visual content creation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
