Hours: 24–40 per week (flexible).

Description:
Positronic has an exciting opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in material science and engineering. This project-based internship focuses on improving the consistency of gold plating thickness on aerospace components using Positronic’s automated plating process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct milestone testing and evaluations related to gold plating process performance.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and deviations in plating thickness.
• Apply problem-solving and statistical analysis techniques to improve process consistency.
• Document findings and prepare clear, data-driven reports on project milestones and results.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements.

Requirements:

• Junior or senior pursuing a degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, or related STEM field.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
