About the Role: 
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented University Lab Technician to join our team part-time. This isn’t just any internship; it’s a chance to get in on the ground floor with a company that’s not just thinking about the future—we’re building it. Ideal for students pursuing degrees in Materials Science, Civil Engineering, or related fields, this role offers hands-on experience in our cutting-edge Ambient® Asphalt Technology lab. You’ll be an integral part of our Special Ops, contributing to the ongoing research, testing, and development efforts that keep us at the forefront of the industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in preparing and executing laboratory tests on Ambient® asphalt products. 

• Conduct quality control testing to ensure compliance with industry standards. 

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure precision. 

• Collect, analyze, and report data from experiments and product tests. 

• Support senior lab technicians and engineers in innovative research projects. 

• Keep the lab organized, clean, and in strict adherence to safety protocols. 

Who You Are:

Qualifications: 

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Chemistry, Materials Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 

• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety protocols. 

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately record and report data. 

• Excellent organizational and communication skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. 

• Familiarity with asphalt or materials science is a plus but not required. 

• AI native: comfortable with navigating LLMs as a lab assistant tool, enhancing research precision and accelerating discovery with computational intelligence.
