Position Overview
Are you a dynamic digital communicator with a knack for creating compelling online content? Are you passionate about enhancing student experiences and building strong connections? Missouri S&T is seeking Student Engagement Officers to support the Division of University Advancement in cultivating deeper relationships with donors and achieving annual fundraising objectives. Through various communication channels and innovative technologies, this position will bridge the gap between Missouri S&T and its alumni and friends, fostering engagement and encouraging philanthropic support.
 
 
Job Description
·       Perform guided outreach and solicitation to S&T alumni and friends through phone, text, email, social media, and video.
·       Develop and maintain broad knowledge of programs and initiatives of the university and the Miner Alumni Association to provide updates with alumni and friends.
·       Produce compelling video content, to include capturing authentic moments and script writing.
·       Support annual giving initiatives and undertake additional projects as requested.
·       Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
 
 
General Qualifications
·       Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
·       Strong verbal and written communication skills, with conversational fluency in English.
·       Currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at Missouri S&T.
·       Actively involved in campus activities, clubs, and/or organizations.
·       Previous customer service, sales, or nonprofit fundraising experience is preferred.
·       Availability during academic terms, including some evenings and weekends.
·       Successful completion of the attached questionnaire and submission of application and resume.

Open to all school years and majors; undergraduate students preferred.
